Facebook Assists with Suspect Identification

Facebook was one man’s worst enemy in a recent arrest. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says a deputy stopped a car Sunday night in the area of South Auburn Street, in Grass Valley, just after midnight. The Deputy quickly identified 32 year old Julie Boughton of Yuba City as having a felony warrant for her arrest with bail set at twenty-five thousand dollars. The 39 year old male passenger gave deputies a man’s name from Nevada City. The Sheriff says deputies did not believe the man.
