Fairgrounds Evacuation Shelter is Full

The Nevada County Fairgrounds is being used as an evacuation shelter, but they are full now. They are still taking in large and small animals, but all of the parking lots are full, and so is Main Street and the R-V Park. Fairgrounds C-E-O Rea Callender says they were able to get the shelter open last night in less than an hour…

You can count on the good people of Grass Valley to help out our neighbors in times like this. I am sure they would do the same for us should a situation arise and we were in need of help. I hope all of those that had to evacuate can return home soon and my thoughts are with them all.
