Associate Superintendent Shar Johns says more than 100 student projects will be on display, including the Cottage Hill Tech Team with robots called spheros, which are like the B-B-8 droid in the latest Star Wars movie. There will be a scavenger hunt, girls who code–which is writing computer programs, making a bike-powered smoothie, and more. Food trucks will be available, and there is music as well. The Expo is at the Main Exhibit Hall at the Nevada County Fairgrounds from 9am to 3pm. Admission is free.
