Fairgrounds Shifts to Winter Hours

With winter coming upon us and days getting shorter, the Nevada County Fairgrounds is shifting to winter hours for access to the grounds. Assistant Fairgrounds Manager Robin Hauck, says that the office will remain open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the RV Park will operate as usual, but the gates to inner grounds will be closed at 4:30 PM.

The grounds will be closed on weekends as well, unless  there is an event taking place.

Hauck says that the winter slow period also allows the staff to do some maintenance. The Fairgrounds has a number of events already scheduled for November and December.
