Fall Victim Rescued on Sugarloaf Mountain

A woman described as in her late 60’s prompted a medical response after she fell while hiking on Sugarloaf Mountain in Nevada City  this morning.  Kayla Burke is with the Cal Fire Dispatch Command Center.

Rescuers had called in CHP Helicopter 24 to assist in finding the injured hiker, but they ended up calling off the Helicopter as they were quickly able to find the woman on a trail.

No word on her condition. The hikers name has not been released.
