Falling Leaves Run Saturday Morning

The Falling Leaves Fun Run, the second to the last run in this year’s grand Prix Series of races,  takes off Saturday morning from Deer Creek School in Nevada City.  Organizer, John Fairchild says its a 5k and 10 k run and a 3k walk, plus a one mile   kids run  between Deer Creek and Seven Hills Schools.

All children participating will get a medal.  The big races take off at 8:30 a.m.  and day of race registration is $25.  Fairchild says all money raised goes to the Nevada City Schools Foundation.

The Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day is the last race of the year in the Grand Prix series of races.
