False ID, Stolen Mail in Two Nevada City Arrests

Two Nevada City men are in jail–one for allegedly stealing mail, and the other for giving a false identity to a police officer. Officers went to what they suspected was an abandoned residence in the 300 block of Old Downieville Highway yesterday and found 33 year-old Jeremiah Boman at the residence with three friends. The two both also face drug charges and violation of their probation. Goin says local law enforcement has had several encounters with both individuals in the past.
