Familiar Face Picked up On Warrants and Drugs

A subject not unfamiliar to local law enforcement arrested in Nevada City late Thursday. A Nevada City police officer on routine patrol made contact with 45 year old Daemion Manjarrez in the 300 block of Sacamento Street. Officer Chad Ellis says the officer was familiar with the man and ran a records check on Manjarrez.

Daemion Manjarrez was arrested for possession of multiple packages of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, burglary tools and the five outstanding warrants for previous drug related charges.
