Nevada County Sheriff’s Deputies wound up taking a suspect to jail last evening after receiving a phone call from the 20-thousand block of Oak Tree Road . Sheriff Keith Royal says the incident occurred last night around 9p.m.

While en route officers were advised that the victims had left and would meet officers at a different location. Once at the scene the grandson of the suspect told officers he had just moved into his grandfathers house and they were not getting along. The Grandson says his grandfather, Ted Callison, age 63, shoved him to the ground then went to his bedroom to retrieve a weapon.

The victim and his girlfriend were able to get out of the residence and called 9-1-1.

Bail was set at $10,000 and Callison bailed out of jail this morning.
