Tassone family spokesman Greg Tassone says a huge wave of relief went over fellow family members when they received word last evening that Mary Grace Tassone’s attacker had been arrested in Grass Valley.

Tassone says his phone blew up with text messages and calls from either the Grass Valley Police Department or people who had been arround the K-Mart parking lot as 50 year old Alan Keirkegaard was being arrested.

It had been a concern for the family that Keirkegaard might still be in the community and others would come to harm.

Mary Grace is still on a ventilator to assist her with breathing but her nephew says Doctors are seeing some improvement although she is still uncounscious.
