Fatal Vehicle Versus Pedestrian in GV

An intoxicated male walking in the middle of East Bennett St was killed when hit by a passing vehicle late Sunday night. According CHP Officer Justin Barnthouse that a number of factors contributed to the victim being struck around 10:00 PM.

Barnthouse says that the driver of the truck was not under the influence or speeding at the time of the collision.

No charges are being filed against the driver of the pickup.
