Despite all the political battles, the Federal Health Care Reform Act may be coming closer to its promise of providing coverage for Californians. A survey from the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation says 68-percent of adults who didn’t have insurance were covered, after the second enrollment period that ended six months ago. DiJulio says many of these people are also undocumented immigrants. The survey also finds that only 49-percent of the recently insured said they still struggled with health care affordability.
