Felon Captured in Placer County Chase

Law enforcement descended on an area around Duggans Road in south County after a wanted man tried to elude Placer County Sheriff’s Deputies. Lieutenant Kevin Borden says deputies saw 32 year old Brian Constanzo on Highway 49 in Auburn at around 3pm and gave chase.  The lieutenant says the driver fled with Constanzo as a passenger.  Several patrol cars joined the persuit.Costanzo bailed out of the vehicle near Wolfe Road and he was caught. Constanzo was wanted on several felony warrants in both Nevada and Placer Counties. Placer County Deputies continued the chase of the  driver of the Red Firebird to the Duggans Road area. The area of the search had Placer and Nevada County Deputies with a perimeter. Canine teams and a helicopter were used in the search. The helilcopter was advising residents of the area to ‘go inside and lock doors’. The search continued into the dark but the driver of the car as of last report was not located.
