Ferguson to Step Down as Assistant DA

Assistant District Attorney Anna Ferguson is resigning from her position as Assistant DA but will remain in the office.  In a weekly newsletter from County CEO Rick Haffey, he states, “Assistant District Attorney Anna Ferguson announced today that she will resign her position as the Assistant District Attorney. She continues to support the mission of the Nevada County District Attorney’s Office and will remain in the office as one of the senior prosecutors.

Assistant District Attorney Ferguson announced personal goals for the change in position. ADA Ferguson has faithfully served the citizens of Nevada County for eight years and will continue to do so in her new capacity. The County Executive Office has appreciated Ms. Ferguson’s professionalism and dedication during some trying times over the last eight years.”
