Farrell Ravine Home Invasion Investigation Continues

A  home invasion robbery that was reported last Sunday  in the 18-thousand block of Farrell Ravine Road on the San Juan Ridge is still under investigation by the Nevada County Sheriff’s Department.  Sheriff Keith Royal says  two victims  living in a shed on the property  reported they saw  3 males approaching around 6:30  in the morning of November 18th,  shouting they were D-E-A agents,  and firing a hand gun at the shed.  Sheriff Royal says one of the victims fired back with a shotgun.

Eighteen hundred dollars in cash and 15 to 20 pounds of processed marijuana were  reported taken and deputies investigating the incident found some marijuana on the driveway  apparently dropped  by the suspects as they fled.  In their investigation detectives also found a Bobcat tractor and a trailer on the property that turned out to be stolen out of Sacramento.

The victims described their attackers as 2 Hispanics, one about 5’4″ clean shaven with a mustache wearing a black baseball cap and jeans,  and a white male about 6 feet tall wearing a green jacket with a yellow stripe on the sleeve and having a tattoo on his forearm. There was no description given on the second Hispanic suspect.   The names of the two male victims, ages 43 and 52, were not being released at this time according to Sheriff Royal.
