Few If Any Fireworks Citations Issued Here

Few or no citations were issued for using fireworks in Nevada County during the 4th of July period. The Fireworks Task Force, consisting of a number of local law enforcement and fire agencies, patrolled from last Saturday through the 4th. McMahan says Nevada City was actually fairly quiet. There were also few violations reported in camping areas, including Scott Flats Lake.
