FFA Canned Food Drive Moves to Nevada Union

The annual holiday season canned food drive from the Nevada Union High School chapter of the Future Farmers of America has also been impacted by the pandemic. That event is happening from 4 to 6 Thursday afternoon. Each student drop off must also include a piece of masking tape, with their name, the number of non-perishable items, and their Ag teacher’s name. And Garren says if you’re not inclined to participate in a drop off, due to coronavirus infection concerns, you can also make a donation to their booster’s Venmo account…

Garren says canned vegetables are often an item that’s under-donated.
