Fight Breaks Out At Local Gas Station

While customers continued to pump gas and make purchases at a local gas station another group of young men decided to throw punches. According to one witness it appeared to be some sort of gang related activity occurring at the 76 Station near the roundabout in Grass Valley earlier this afternoon.

The witness said a third vehicle then pulled in and the situation escalated.

According to Grass Valley Police Captain Rex Marks police, with weapons drawn, were able to apprehend two subjects.

After questioning the subjects a decision to drop the investigation was made and the incident ended. Through all of this the witness was surprised how the general public responded.

The witness did say that a number of people were taking photos and at least two females were shooting video with their phones.

Why drop it? Were they gang members? If so, nip it in the bud, NOW!!! We don't need that junk in our town.

I agree with Ron. Sounds like this reporting witness was the only person who made an effort to do anything about it and get the authorities called. I understand no one really wants to get involved as one never knows if there are weapons, etc..but who are these people to not step in say or do anything. No wonder we have such a bullying problem with kids. Who's going to teach them to do the right thing?
