Film Festival Finishes Third in Nationwide Poll

It’s often been referred to as the Sundance of the Sierra, but the Nevada City Film Festival has beaten out the Park City, Utah attraction in a contest of the best festivals in the country. Last month, we told you that USA Today was doing a nationwide poll where people could vote on their favorites. Nevada City finished third. Ann Arbor, Michigan came in number one, followed by the Santa Barbara Film Festival. Sundance didn’t even make the top ten. The Nevada City Film Festival is held in September. This will be its twentieth year.
