The final toy giveaway is taking place today until 1:00 PM at the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army partners with the California Highway Patrol as part of the Chips for Kids Program. CHP Officer Greg Tassone is helping distribute toys and clothing at the Salvation Army.

Vicky Winters is the holiday giveaway coordinator and has facilitated Toys for Tots and Chips for Kids. She says the Salvation Army wants to serve all kids in the area. She says if you are in need of assistance for your children for Christmas, please come to the Salvation right now (Monday afternoon).
