Final Week for Children’s Reading Programs

It’s the final week for some of the children and teen summer activities sponsored by the Nevada County Library. A chance for children and adults to interact with wild animals comes to both the Grass Valley Branch and the Madelyn Helling Branch on Wednesday, July 30. Librarian Kim Farnsworth says Wild Things is bringing their rescued wild animals to the backyard of the Grass Valley Library – Royce Branch at 11 AM and to the Gene Albaugh Community Room at the Madelyn Helling Library at 2 PM.

The animals vary from year to year based upon what has been rescued and rehabilitated enough to show to a group.

Also next week the library is hosting its Summer Teen Lock-in Friday evening at the Madelyn Helling Library.
