I know it was a youth football game, but what fun both Geoff Flynn and I had broadcasting last Saturday’s championship midget football game between the Bear River Junior Bruins and the Nevada Union Junior Miners. The level of play between the two teams was exceptional with NU coming from behind to pull out the 29-28 win with two touchdown in the last 6 minutes of the game! The game had everything…big plays, key turnovers, kickoff returns for touchdowns..and most importantly: sportsmanship. And it came, not only from the players, but from the parents and adults involved as well. I hope to have the broadcast up on our podcast list as soon as possible so all can enjoy the game that the kids put on for us. Hope to do it again sometime! NOTE: Podcast of game is now up on the KNCO.com website, look under “High School Sports”. Thanks to Dave!

Tom, what a wonderful job you, Geoff and Hollie did in putting this together in such a short period of time for us. It had tremendous impact on the kids and families that they where playing in front of a radio crowd. I have had 50+ families tell me they listen to the entire broadcast! Thank you once again-Mark
