York says most businesses in Nevada County have received less than the national average of 280-thousand dollars which is designed to pay employees for eight weeks. The money must match the pre-Covid 19 payroll in order to be forgiven. York also says only about 45 percent of businesses nationally had even applied for the loans. She also says it’s not too late for businesses to apply for the loans. York also has two pieces of advice for businesses that are getting ready to open. One is to have plenty of protective gear, such as those plexi-glass shields, and second, she says continue to conserve cash…
