Fire Danger Still High In Nevada and Surrounding Counties

Lightning strikes are a cause of some fires in the forest, but most of the fires are human caused. Tahoe National Forest Spokesperson Gwen Enrst-Ulrich says a multi-agency campaign “One Less Spark, One Less Fire” is focused on fire prevention on forest lands.
