Fire Destroys Home On Carrington Lane

A Nevada County couple has been burned out of their home. They were not injured. Consolidated Fire District Battalion Chief Jim Smith says by the time crews arrived early today, the home, on Carrington Lane near Allison Ranch Road, was fully engulfed in flames. Smith says while the couple managed to get out safely their 1700 square-foot home is considered to be a total loss. He says the cause will also be difficult to determine because of the complete destruction.
