Fire Fees Likely Going Up For Nevada Co Consolidated

For the first time in two years, fire protection and medical emergency fees are likely going up for property owners in the service area of the Nevada County Consolidated Fire District. Under a preliminary proposal being considered by the board this week, the annual Special Assessment, approved by voters in 2012, would increase by 3-28 for a single residential home.
