The fire was contained to an area estimated at 200 by 200 feet. Smith says there is a lot of green vegetation in the area, which likely kept the fire from spreading.

Every morning I see all kinds of homeless people coming out from behind the trees on that road. Wouldnt surprise me if campfires were the cause of this fire.
