Fire on Jones Ridge east of Grass Valley-Contained

May 26, 2014 at 3:36 PM Good progress on the Jones incident, the fire was just declared contained at 1/4 acre. Crews will be on scene for another 2 hours for mop up operations in heavy fuels. Some resources are being released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
