Fire on Pasquale RD. at Red Dog

Fire Location is behind Pioneer Park in the canyon approaching Gracie Rd.  Fire Officials says first reports of smoke were for the Red Dog Pasquale Location, but there is no fire buringing in that area.       Numerous additional resources en route to the fire.
Per Nevada County County Sheriff’s Office: No evacuations at this time – 5:07 pm.
4:48p.m.The Pasquale Fire is approximately 3 acres in size. One structure (residence) is threatened. The fire is burning at a moderate rate of spread in heavy brush and timber.

One additional tanker and one more helicopter on order for the Pasquale Fire.

September 7, 2014 at 4:36 PM Vegetation fire near Red Dog Road and Pasquale Road. Full wildland dispatch, air resources are overhead. Smoke is widely visible.
