Fire Department Wows Visitors

The Grass Valley Fire Department Fire Station 2 held an Open House today to highlight services, apparatus, and personnel that serve the Grass Valley Community. One exciting demonstration was the arrival and display of the Reach Helicopter Air Ambulance. Battalion Chief Mark Buttron explains how the air ambulance system works as the helicopter landed.

The Open House was a success as a number of visitors attended and were treated to exciting demonstrations and photo opportunities with fire fighters, medical responders, and of course the REACH helicopter.
