The first phase replaces about one-point-seven miles of the canal, which serves 36-hundred-93 raw water agricultural customers. The system also serves two treatment plants that provide water to over five-thousand homes in Lake of the Pines and North Auburn. The second phase is scheduled to begin in the fall. The total cost of the project is 19-point-6 million dollars.
