Fishing Group Rescued Jackson Meadows Reservoir

A family fishing excursion at an eastern Nevada County reservoir turned into a 24-hour ordeal over the past weekend. Trygg says the department’s volunteer Search and Rescue Team, as well as a Washoe County helicopter with infrared capability, were then deployed. He says the helicopter pilot spotted the group’s pickup and trailer, which led him to a spot where they’d gotten stuck in a Utility Terrain Vehicle…

Trygg says everyone was still in good health. He says the terrain had also prevented the group from getting cell phone reception.
