Fitzpatrick Remembered By NU Girls Basketball

Western Nevada County is mourning the loss of 51 year-old Michael Fitzpatrick, who has been identified as one of the drivers killed in a car crash last week on Highway 49 near Pingree Road. According to the Highway Patrol, for still unknown reasons, Fitzpatrick was driving northbound and crossed into the southbound lanes and struck another driver head-on, killing them both. The other driver killed in the crash was 70 year-old William Tonis of San Ramon. The C-H-P is still investigating the collision.
