Fleeing Suspect Caught in Grass Valley

Early Friday morning (Nov 23), Grass Valley Police officers apprehended a suspect after he attempted to flee when officers tried to make casual contact with the man. Sergeant Alex Gammelgard said the suspect was walking down East Main Street around 8:00 AM.

Once in custody the suspect was identified and further investigation uncovered drug paraphernalia and the fact that the suspect was on parole.

Neil Johnson was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
