Flu Season On The Way

Nevada County residents are already preparing for the upcoming flu season. The first official flu shot clinic took place in Grass Valley on October 1. Nevada County Immunization Coordinator Sherri Dunn says they vaccinated 119 at the Veterans Building. However, Dunn says the numbers have been declining each year.

The next Western Nevada County clinic is the emergency preparedness test drive-thru clinic on October 15. A complete list of flu clinics is posted on mynevadacounty.com
