Flu Shot Clinic Rolls Smoothly

The Nevada County Public Health Department has a Government mandate to be able to provide either vaccines or oral medications to the public in a limited amount of time in the event of an  infectious disease outbreak or bio terrorism.  A drive through Flu shot exercise at Twin Cities Church parking lot today (Tuesday) was a test of that ability. Public Health Coordinator Patti Carter says they learned from last years test and had a nurse on both sides of the vehicle giving shots  this year, which speeded up the process.
