Following To Close Ends With Ride to Jail

An out of state driver ended up in jail after being stopped for following too close in the Truckee area. CHP Officer Pete Mann says an officer saw a Ford F-350, towing a fifth-wheel trailer driving dangerously close to the vehicle in front of it while coming down Highway 80 from Donner Summit.

Brown,-Michael127 year old Michael Wayne Brown of Kansas City, Missouri consented to let the officer search his vehicle and trailer. The officers discovered a large quantity of marijuana in the trailer.

Michael Wayne Brown is in custody at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on 100,000 dollar bail.
