Food and Fun at Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Festival

If horses aren’t your thing but eating is- The Draft Horse Classic at the Nevada County Fairgrounds has just the events for you.
On Saturday The Classic has added a Sausage, Brats, and Beer competition on the lawn, near the Northern Mines Building.
Publicist Wendy Oaks says the new event is sure to be popular.

The Challenge begins at 1 pm.  Food sampling: 2 – 5 pm

On Sunday its the return of the Classic BBQ Cook-Off

Taste the treats and vote for your favorite! Tasting takes place from 1:30 – 4pm.
Tasting tickets are 5 for $10.
Beverages will be available to purchase.

Many Treat Street vendors will also be open for business. (Get those corn dogs you missed at the Fair this summer.)

The Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair at the Nevada County Fairgrounds all weekend long- cooking competitions on Saturday and Sunday.  Harvest Fair activities are FREE!
