Foothill Quilters Guild Quilt Show

By Ashlyn Rhodes

The Foothill Quilters Guild is gearing up to host their annual quilt show this weekend at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn.  Guild Publicity Director Mary Lee Drake says the two-day event will host hundreds of quilting examples of decorative and wearable quilting projects.  The fair will also have quilting demonstrations, door prizes and raffles, a fashion show, and a vendor mall.

Doors at the Gold Country Fairgrounds open at 10 on Saturday morning and the fair runs until 4 p.m. on Sunday.  Davis says there will be no shuttle between the fairgrounds and parking lot this year, though there will be a drop-off area people can use.  For more information, check out their website at FoothillQuilters.org.
