A former employee of the South Yuba Club in Grass Valley has been sentenced to 303 days in jail and 5 years probation, after pleading guilty, earlier this year, to embezzlement-related charges. Helen Bradford was 60 at the time of her arrest in April of last year. The South Yuba Club lost over $60,000. Bradford was originally charged with over 80 embezzlement counts. But she pleaded guilty to one embezzlement count, as well as one count of identity theft.
