Fourth of July Accident Sends Two to Hospital and One to Jail

A driver and passenger were injured when they ran their vehicle off the road in Alta Sierra on the 4thof July. Grass Valley CHP Officer Greg Tassone says the incident occurred near the intersection of Alta Sierra Drive and Pammy Way.

Both the driver and passenger were transported to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The driver, 19 year old Marshall Ford, is suspected of driving under the influence and was booked into the Wayne Brown Correction Al Facility for felony driving under the influence and causing bodily harm, and driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at 75,000 dollars.

Officer Tassone says an additional piece of information came to light during the follow-up.
