City Council members rotate the mayorship every two years, with vice-mayor Howard Levine almost assuredly getting the nod as the next mayor. Tonight’s council meeting is mostly a ceremonial one, and it also includes Fouyer’s Business of the Year, and Citizen of the Year…

Fouyer says the Citizen of the Year does not know about the award. The Business of the Year does. Returning council members Jan Arbuckle and Lisa Swarthout, along with Levine will be sworn-in to start new four-year terms on the council. A Vice-Mayor will also be elected by the group. Tonight’s meeting, which is expected to be a brief one, starts at 7 o’clock this evening at City Hall.
