Fraud Prevention Workshop for Small Businesses

Businesses looking for information on how to identify and deter theft and fraud in the work place will have two opportunities on Thursday May 8th. Nevada County Auditor-Controller, Marcia Salter, says the 90 minute workshop covers a variety of business related financial crimes.

Salter says that local law enforcement is also involved in the workshop.

The morning workshop is at the board of Supervisors’ Chamber at the Rood Center from 8:30-10:00 AM. The afternoon session is at the Grass valley City Council Chambers from 2:30 to 4:00 PM. The sessions are open to anyone and are free.
