Fraudulent Prescription Arrests in Grass Valley

An alert Rite-Aid employee helped stop two Sacramento County residents from passing fraudulent prescriptions Tuesday night. Captain Rex Marks from the Grass Valley Police Department says the pair may be facing Federal charges as part of a larger investigation of passing fraudulent prescriptions.

18 year old Morgan Nichole Manual of Sacramento and Robert Allen Marcus age 25 of Elk Grove were charged with Receiving known stolen property, criminal conspiracy, forging a narcotics prescription and having unauthorized blank prescription sheets and well as 2nd degree burglary, driving on a suspended license. The pair were booked into the Wayne Brown correctional Facility.
