With measles becoming an issue in Southern California, Nevada County officials are being proactive about the disease spreading to our area. The Nevada County Public Health Department’s Immunization and Emergency Preparedness Programs are pleased to offer the Measles-Mumps-Rubella vaccination tomorrow at NO COST.
County Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Patti Carter says the Mobile Services Van will be at the Grass Valley Veteran’s Building from 1pm-4pm. While the van clinic will offer all childhood immunizations, the MMR is the only one being offered at no cost. This is due to the large measles outbreak currently happening in Southern California.
The children’s vaccination clinic is:
DATE: Thursday, January 22, 2015
PLACE: Grass Valley Vets Building
255 S. Auburn St., Grass Valley
Please bring your child’s Immunization Card with you to this clinic.
