Free Measles Clinic Postponed

A free Measles clinic originally scheduled for today (Friday) by the Nevada County Public Health Department has been postponed. The Measles-Mumps-Rubella and Pertussis vaccines instead will be given out Thursday May 28 at the Veterans Hall. There has been an outbreak of measles in California, but no cases have been reported in Nevada County. County officials say they’ll have more of the vaccine available on the rescheduled date.
