Free Parking for Nevada City Shoppers

The Nevada City Chamber of Commerce,  the City Council, and the Police Department are giving Nevada City holiday shoppers an early Christmas gift. Police Chief, Jim Wickham, explains the recently approved new program providing free parking time for shoppers during the week.

Holiday shopping kicked off with a beautiful and busy Thanksgiving weekend which is encouraging for Nevada City businesses.
