Friar Tuck’s Restaurant and Bar took home a 2012 Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine. Founder and owner Greg Cook says the international magazine has strict requirements to be considered for the award and that Friar Tuck’s has been on the magazine’s list for almost 16 consecutive years, barring one unfortunate incident.
Friar Tuck’s offers over 300 wines from all over the world, with northern California being highly represented. Cook says Friar Tuck’s has been a prominant influence in the wine industry ever since they opened in 1973.
