Friday Food Film Series Kicks Off

Nevada County residents have a second opportunity to see four of the award winning films from the 2013 Wild and Scenic Film Festival- and they can do it for free. Beginning this Friday (February 1), the Briar Patch Co-op is kicking off the Friday Food Film series by showing the film “Cafeteria Man” at 7:00. Briar Patch spokesperson, Stephanie Mandell, says  “Cafeteria Man” was the winner of the best of show at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival.

Mandell says that one food film will be shown each Friday in February.

Another one of the award winning films that will be shown later this month is “Symphony of the Soil”

Films, “Greening the Revolution” and “In Organic We Trust” will be shown on other Fridays.
All screenings are free and open to the public.  Seating in the BriarPatch Community Room is limited to 34 people.
