Friends Helping Friend

Friends are banding together to help a young local cancer patient. Evan Sanders says 27 year old Meaghan Johnson has been battling cancer for eight years. The disease has progressed to stage five. Meaghan’s friends are trying to help her with her alternative care in her fight against the cancer. After having a reaction to chemotherapy eight years ago that left her in a coma, she has turned to alternative therapy. Sanders said her friends will be holding a fund raiser and silent auction to help her.

It will take place at the Stonehouse Restaurant on November 17th at seven PM.  A DJ will be present and a fifteen dollar donation is requested.
